Is the backseat of a VW Beetle uncomfortable?

I want a VW Beetle for my first car though I know that I'll probably have give friends rides to school and back. Is the backseat so small that they'll get uncomfortable?Is the backseat of a VW Beetle uncomfortable?My wife and I owned a1999 New Beetle. It seats four ppl. comfortably enough.

By that I mean if the rear passengers are not over 5' 9". If you are taller than that, your head will rub the interior liner.

Our Beetle sometimes had four adults in it. No one complained abt. cramping. However, I would not have subjected them to a 2 or 3 hour ride tho.

Drive one for yourself and check out the rear seat too. Sit in it yourself and see if you are alright.

Chances are the Beetle will be alright.

BTW, our Beetle was a trustworthy, fun to own and drive car. Sadly we sold it because our family was 'growing'. We bought a Jetta 4-door; also a great car.Is the backseat of a VW Beetle uncomfortable?Its small and uncomfortable (assuming you are referring to the original bug). But who cares if its uncomfortable if you are the one who has to drive it everyday. Buy what you want!
