What kind of bulbs (part numbers) are in the hi-beam lights of a 2008 VW Jetta SE?

There are two bulbs in the light. There is one in the center and one off to the side. The one to the left on the passenger side is out. Where can I find a replacement. Is it easy to replace yourself? I am talking out the hi-beams, not the outer lights with the VW logo on them. What kind of bulbs (part numbers) are in the hi-beam lights of a 2008 VW Jetta SE?My wife's Jetta needed bulbs. So I went to Walmart. Looked up the info on their index. Bought bulbs. Got home . Wrong bulbs.

Then went to VW dealership. Got the correct bulbs. Just $3 more. Opened hood and replaced said bulbs. Not easy. But not especilly difficult either.

Plan B was to let dealer install them if I couldnt. I replaced them while at the dealer parking lot , just in case...

Most people recommend doing both, even if only 1 is out. They usually last abt the same length of time. Saves time....What kind of bulbs (part numbers) are in the hi-beam lights of a 2008 VW Jetta SE?
The Bulbs in the 08 Jetta are an H7 in halogen. If your car is under the comprehensive warranty the bulbs are covered still, so you don't have to waste your money. Check with the dealership they will tell you. We checked at the one I worked at they are covered. The Xenon bulbs are covered too.
