I want to charge my MacBook Pro in my car, but it needs at least 85 watts of power. How much power does my cigarette lighter provide?
Thanks!How many watts of power is put out by my 2005 VW GTI cigarette lighter?I have a converter. DC to AC power. The converter is enough to run and charge a lap top, not Mac Book. You have to try it and and see what happens. One way would be to find a 100 watt light bulb and see if it plays when you plug your converter in. Just take any old lamp.
