disconnect your battery for 10 minutes or so and it will turn off the lite. It will also wipe out the computer memory and it will reprogram itself. It will also erase your radio memory if you have stations stored. No big deal. The worst thing is you won't know what the trouble was that turned the lite on. You can purchase your own code scanner also. They are available for about $50 or less if you shop around. Mine came on recently (on a '02 jetta) when I replaced my air filter and my bro forgot to plug the sensor back in. It threw the code even after we plugged it back in. About after a day or two of running fine and not having any problems, it ended up going away on its own.
