Is it possible to install an ipod hook up in a 2007 VW rabbit ?

I think the 2008 rabbits come with the ipod hook up standard, but not the 2007. Is there an easy way to add one, or would I just have to get a whole new stereo ? I don't want to get an FM transmitter because they get a lot static. Plug it into the top of the ipod where the headphone jack goes and plug it into the aux jack in the car. Put the radio to AUX and there you go.
