You are getting some good advice, just another thought for you. I went through this on my first car. I had to split the darn thing in half using a grinder. Maybe a combo approach of the chisel like someone else suggested and grinding will work for you. Something else that might help is heating it up using a propane torch. The metal will expand as it is heated, especially if it is a cheaper make of locking nut, making it easier to remove. Don't over heat as the stud will heat and expand as well. Hopefully one of the suggestions you are getting will work. Good luck. How can i remove or get help removing locking nuts on my VW Sharan wheels having lost the locking nut tool?go to a garage that does repairs.. They have a tool to remove them..
