I have a 2005 VW Touareg and can hear a large volume of water sloshing around on the LHS of the vehicle when I brake.
Could there be a blocked drain plug or something?Any idea what could cause water sloshing around noises on the LHS of a 2005 VW Touareg?I would check the battery box which is located under the drivers seat. If water got into the drivers compartment the battery box is a good place for it to pool up. To access, remove the 2 front covers under the floor mat to access the front bolts, then pull the rear seat rail trims off by pulling straight back. Once the trims are off and the front bolts are off then the seat pivots back. The front bolts are triple square design in other words internal 12 point. Typical for vw and audi but not many manufacturers use this type.Any idea what could cause water sloshing around noises on the LHS of a 2005 VW Touareg? It could be trapped in the sill. Take a look and see if there are any bungs and pull one out. If you get wet you found your water. Cause is most likely a sunroof drain either blocked or not routed out of the sill properly.
