It is the driver side fog lamp. I have purchased a new one. It appears that there is a screw on the top of it and you can't access it because there is a bunch of stuff in the way. Anyone know the procedure to replace this?How do I replace a fog lamp on a 99 VW New Beetle?Remove and Installation...
Disconnect electrical connection at fog lamp assembly.
Remove front end assembly.
Remove screws -arrows- on inside of front bumper.
Remove fog lamp assembly.
Insert fog lamp assembly into front bumper and secure with screws.
Connect electrical connection.
Reinstall front end.
Check fog lamp aim
