Does anyone know how to reset the Radio on a 1998 VW Cabrio?

I bought a used 1998 VW Cabrio w/no manual. Someone tried to break in and triggered the security. Now the radio doesn't work and is asking for some 4-digit code - Does anyone know how to reset this?Does anyone know how to reset the Radio on a 1998 VW Cabrio?Go to VW dealer, they will enter the code - I think it's 20 - 50 dollars or so. Don't try to enter it if you don't know, the radio will be locked.Does anyone know how to reset the Radio on a 1998 VW Cabrio?take a piss on it. that always reset ma clock radios in ma car... lol just kidding, you need to take a **** on itDoes anyone know how to reset the Radio on a 1998 VW Cabrio?first, call the dealership you purchased it from. they SHOULD have it stored in their database. have them tell you how to put it in. some dealerships will even retrieve the code and punch it in for you for free if you didn't purchase it from an actual vw dealer close by. my dealership charges $45 though. if you can't find the code yourself, the dealership has to take out your radio, get the serial number by taking out the radio, communicate with vw, and get the number.
