I have a very small leak in the radiator on my 1995 VW Golf 3. Where do I put radiator leak sealer? In the expansiontank or do I need to pull of a hose to put it directly in the radiator? There is no cap to unscrew to get direct access to the radiator on this car.Where to put radiator leak sealer in a VW Golf 3?Stop leak, or any so-called sealer is temporary at best, if it works at all. It usually stops up the cooling system causing more damage. You will eventually have to repair the leak, but after using the sealer, you will also, at the very least, have to replace the radiator and heater core and maybe the head(s).
It will be cheaper in the long run to just fix the problem right.Where to put radiator leak sealer in a VW Golf 3?Do yourself a favor and throw that crap in the trash! ! !
If you have a small leak, Have it fixed properly.
That stop leak will stop up your Heater core and you'll end up replacing that too.
The water passages in the heater core are a lot smaller than the ones in the radiator and I promise you it'll stop it up.
