Where is the dip stick for the automatic transmission on a 2000 VW bug?

I have a friend that owns a 2000 VW Bug, it is shifting hard and we need to find where to add the fluidWhere is the dip stick for the automatic transmission on a 2000 VW bug?There is no dipstick, it is permanently lubricated. You need to go underneath, and undo the allen head bolt. However, if it is shifting hard, that is not indicative of low fluid. Get an independent VW tech to look at it. I am well-versed in manual gearboxes, not automatics.
