Does anyone have idea how to replace the Hood Struts for my VW Passat?

Please share with me few snaps as how to replace the Hood Struts for my VW Passat. I couls see a bols and not at the lower end. But the upper part of the Strut which is attached to Hood looks different to me. I couldn't identify any way to detach the old one.Does anyone have idea how to replace the Hood Struts for my VW Passat?really not much to any hood strut replacement maybe 10 minutes on any car
