I have a vr6 jetta and over the past month i have been loosing coolant from the water pump according to my owner manual it is covered under the 100,000 powertrain warranty but I am the second owner so does this mean i wont get any coverage?Does vw powertrain wwarrenty apply to second owner?no if its not past its expartion you shoudl still have the coverageDoes vw powertrain wwarrenty apply to second owner?Check the trems on your warranty - they are usually good for a fixed number of miles OR a period of time - whichever comes first - eg 100,00 miles or five years.
